Hotel Properties Limited says managing director, Ong Beng Seng, has been asked to provide information in a corruption probe that's involving S Israwan, the transport minister. According to HPL, no charges have been filed against Ong. "He will be travelling from 14 July 2023 and will be surrendering his passport to CPIB upon his return to Singapore. He has been given a notice of arrest and has posted bail of $100,000. |

Why is there no clarifications or follow-up to the BT article on applications to amend Master Plan received and published by URA? As a result of the weekend article, HPL shares traded from 3.59 to a high of 3.99 on Monday. Neither HPL sees it fit to respond nor SGX sees it appropriate to query HPL on what is not a rumour but an actual application submited to URA.   |

Capitaland / Temasek in the picture now with HPL, maybe it will be a govt project on the carpark, connect to Ion Orchard together with Wheelock since Wheelock 2nd Towkay in HPL, and further connect to the new " Ion" project in the open land to be tendered across from the current Ion as per Masterplan.  Orchard MRT is the major Central MRT Hub so makes sense for Temasek to connect all projects.  Very exciting for the area and Orchard Raod | ||||

Based on HPL AR2022, OBS, 68 Holding and Wheelock HK grp owns collectively approx 88.5%, public owns remaining 11.5%. All they need to do is to own an additional say 1.6% of the total 521.3m shared listed or 8.35m shares. They will exceed the 90% threshold to allow for privatisation and hence delisting. Under such circumstances, the little public free float will be surely sizzling hot.    lol

Yes exaclty, and they are 60% shaeholder only in the REIT and not HPL itself, so better even Boss Ong got thier support but still have all HPL to himself and can inject new mall to Paragon Reit, and HPL Boss Ong also own the balance 40% of Paragon. hosay! now Boss Ong HPL also got Paddington Sqaure in London completed, another billion dollar pounds project, and HPL JV Temasek for the other Bankside Yards project... double hosay   |

If I am not wrong, Temasek is a 60% majority partner in Cascuden. Hosayliao!

It seems that is exactly the plan.  You are spot on.  Now they got Capitaland to manage the mall and then the perfect REIT vehicle to inject the new giant Orchard Four Seasons Mall... not better mall management than Capitaland and no better REIT platform than SPH Reit both mnaaged by Capitaland... this is getting very exciting  | ||||
