According to HPL, no charges have been filed against Ong. "He will be travelling from 14 July 2023 and will be surrendering his passport to CPIB upon his return to Singapore. He has been given a notice of arrest and has posted bail of $100,000.

As a result of the weekend article, HPL shares traded from 3.59 to a high of 3.99 on Monday. Neither HPL sees it fit to respond nor SGX sees it appropriate to query HPL on what is not a rumour but an actual application submited to URA.
