x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	From an analyst' s perspective, using latest annual report figures, the tangible book value now is $3.80+ as at 9q14 and not full year yet. Expecting a figure closer to $4. Could be the reason why OCBC rejected Charoen' s offer. They probably believe they can achieve a better price. The FY results are going to be out around the 28th of feb, this would present a buying opportunity on dips, in my opinion. However that does not mean they will sell at market value or at a bargain. As a long term investor, OCBC know UE better than anyone else. There is no need to panic sell. Although they are unable to reach a consensus with Thai tycoon, it does not mean the end of the world. There are many eligible suitors for UE and we will find someone who is willing to pay for the premium. No doubt the price for UE will fall at the opening on Monday, I reckon potential suitors will be buying discreetly.
