Ipco: Post 2Q14 Net Loss Of S$114.7 Million Vs 2Q13 Net Profit Of S$5.2 Million.In the second quarter ended 31 October 2013, Ipco International Ltd achieved a Turnover of S$8.0 million, which was 24.8% higher than the Turnover of S$6.4 million recorded for the corresponding quarter ended 31 October 2012. The Group recorded a Loss before Income Tax and Non-Controlling Interest of S$114.2 million in 2Q FY14, as compared with a Profit before Income Tax and Non-Controlling Interest of S$5.0 million recorded in 2Q FY13, resulting in a Loss before Income Tax and Non-Controlling Interest of S$119.2 million. Haha yeah I guess digiland is a bit too much, but if ipco is just going to depend on its gas business alone, this stock is not going to see any huge movement upwards in the next few years at least unless there's new significant developments

dont think will go to digiland lol.. i think ipco revenue at least still more than digiland? fundamentally wasnt strong, but at least not that bad as digiland.. it's gas business seems to be picking up slowly, but will really take years to develop.. it could have got lots of cash from blumont to hasten their development in their business, but they miss the opportunity.. hard to gauge the ability of people in management since its something unmeasurable & can only at best look at their track record & history..

Lol it's obvious ipco were placing all their bets on blumont to become the new mining superpower in Asia, and counting on blumont to turnaround the company, that's why they didn't cash out their stake at $2+. In other words, ipco and blumont's fates are almost tied together now. If blumont really turns bankrupt, then ipco will probably be like digiland/sunmoon lol. Just my opinion | ||||

think they wouldnt be selling at this point when it's at low.. if they do, either there's really something wrong with blumont & they think blumont may fall further or collapse, or they will be making a second bad decision to sell at low.. when blumont was rising, there are surely those retailers/institution that are buying along the way when it's rising, in the public market.. disposing little by little to the public market wouldnt crash the price yet at that time (even selling off 10% of their stake at high would yield them more than all their shares of their current value now).. so they dont actually need some buyer to buy at off-market transaction.. ipco just make a big time bad decision to not dispose even 1 single share when blumont is rising..
