Ley Choon FY2023 earnings doubles
Infrastructure contractor Ley Choon Group Holdings has reported earnings of $9.7 million for FY2023, up 104.3% over the preceding $4.8 million recorded for the preceding March 2022.
Revenue in the same period was up 33.4% to $123.9 million, driven by a bigger volume of work done.
The company has an order book of $315.9 million, to be fulfilled over the next three years.
" Apart from new underground infrastructure, we also foresee a sizeable number of older infrastructures needing replacement soon," says executive chairman Toh Choo Huat.
" In the coming year or so, we will capitalize on this uptrend and bid for more projects to replenish or even grow our order book further," he adds.

Ley Choon rises more than 10% to three-month high on new contract wins
SHARES in Ley Choon Group : Q0X +11.76% climbed as much as 11.8 per cent to a three-month high of S$0.019 after the group announced that its units secured contracts worth a total of S$153 million for underground services installation and road infrastructure maintenance.
The last time the Catalist-listed counter traded near such highs was in November 2022.
Ley Choon eased later in the day to trade at S$0.018 as at 3.23 pm on Monday (Feb 6).
No married deals were recorded according to ShareInvestor data.
Founded as Ley Choon Constructions and Engineering in 1990, the company registered itself as an underground utilities infrastructure service provider based in Singapore, according to the Singapore Exchange&rsquo s website.
The group is primarily involved in constructing and maintaining sewer pipes, roads and airfields, as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling. It is one of five asphalt plant operators in Singapore.

As of now, still unable to break through 0.002 even with such big contract being awarded. Everybody is so careful. Singaporean stock doesn't have the liquidity to support value investing stock.

Ltd., have successfully secured contracts worth approximately S$22.7 million in aggregate for laying and installation of underground utilities services (the &ldquo Contracts&rdquo ). The Contracts are expected to be completed within 30 months. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Contracts are expected to progressively contribute to the Group&rsquo s financial performance after the commencement of the Contracts.
