 Alert Admin 		DTSS 2 will be completed by Sep 2023. Now that Indonesia has allowed for sand exports, Govt may speed up land reclamation projects. And this is one area that Koh Eco & Penta Ocean has the edge.

Koh Brothers Eco unit and partner bag S$186m HDB contract
 
A SUBSIDIARY of Koh Brothers Eco Engineering : 5HV 0% and its joint venture (JV) partner have secured a S$186 million contract from the Housing & Development Board, the company announced in a bourse filing on Tuesday (June 13).
 
The contract is for the construction of the Kallang Integrated Development. The Koh Brothers Eco unit and JV partner LBD Engineering will be involved in the building of public housing, a covered linkway along Lorong 1 Geylang, and road expansion works.
 
The contract also includes the construction of a childcare centre, future communal facilities and a bus interchange, as well as landscaping works.
 
Koh Brothers Eco has a 10 per cent stake in the JV. The contract will lift the company&rsquo s order book to S$703.2 million, from S$684.6 million as at end-2022.
 
&ldquo Our healthy order book is backed by this joint venture project, as well as the ongoing mechanical, electrical and instrumentation control and automation works at Tuas Water Reclamation Plant, which will generate a steady, recurring maintenance income post-completion in 2025,&rdquo said Koh Brothers Eco&rsquo s chief executive Paul Shin.

Most management are only looking out for themselves, increasing

sharehgolder value secondary. This is why SGX is in this state today.

In many Western countries, CEOs may command high salaries but if they don' t

perform in  or 2 years, out they go.

In SGX, CEOs can remain indefinately even when the comp[any goes down the drain.

Doing charity work for government. PUB had conducted market pricing check for equipment, labour and material before open for tender with guidance price. Contractors based on the guidance price killing each other to secure the contract. So hard to earn money. after Tuas Water Reclmation Plant completion, Contractor hardly find other similar scale contracts, layoff and retrenchment will come again.

 Alert Admin 		Still a laggard imo. From the high of 0.30 in 2009 till 0.037 now, the business is ran to the ground in a decade. Only depending on govt contracts to keep them afloat and alive till now. Unless another big contact from govt kick th price to 0.10, I will not be interested to look at it  no
