Not too sure why are people concern about KIT "not doing well"...yes it has meandered into certain questionable areas and not being able to extract value from its asset mgt contracts but so? Its not in the same dire straits that semb marine was and not doing asset stripping like Sing Post...sit back collect the dividends and don't expect capital gains and you will be fine | ||||

Agree. But I think this time may not drop so much. US and China seem very unstable. I predict (but I may be wrong) investors will look out for places which are relatively stable. So I think this share has potential moving forward?

KIT made up a good portion of my retirement portfolio. Dividend collection time is approaching. Not surprising that the share price is ticking up - quite a usual move. It will move towards $0.45-$0.46 and then XD will drop back again. |

I don' t like to guess specifically what it will be versus the 1.95 cents last time out. There are too many moving parts to figure out. Big picture the normalised (ie excluding the relatively fixed increase in management fees) DPU has beengrowing about 5% a year give or take and I see no reason why in the medium term this cannot continue. At a 9-10% current DPU yield that feels very attractive.

I think the problem here is that they can' t sell Ixom and they are not able to find new deals and their management fees is significantly higher with no results to show for. Alot of dead weight employees in KIT
