the main problem is ... even if accept... we will not get the funds until the deal is closed...(CMA gets 90%). this had happened in the tiger air case also - even after accepting we did not get the funds until Tiger revised its offer and got 90%. if this is stuck till 6 months ... then we will not even be able to sell in the open market - we would be locked... and we will only receive the funds after the deal is finalised ..    |

He also mentioned some hedge funds were buying even at the level of 1.22/1.23 , even at 1.305   recently . He said if hedge fund continue to buy at above 1.30 with increased volume , something is going to derail , and CMA GO may that be that smooth .

In this case , it is even better , I will remain a shareholder in unlisted NOL to poke the asss of the Frenchmen . I lose small but they lose BIG !

They would use force delist as last resort if all option expires as stated in their intention. Brexit fear coming next week, stay strong to weather it, high chance another selloff.

Just an advice. Give in to them. Don't be like those CK Tang shareholders who didn't take up the cash offer at $0.83 in 2009, now the company only offer $0.35 in 2016

Was at the forum last nite. Met one guy who was together in JC , now with BNP PARIBAS , advisor to CMA to this GO. I asked him CMA spent so much money to buy NOL , They wants a 100% subsidiary or 89% owned listing Sub ? CMA want an unlisted Sub with minority shareholders ? He told me the answr is obvious . CMA just want a unlisted 100% owned subsidiary , whih they have a free hand to act , not subject to any compliance , no need to call for EGM for shareholders' approval. If CMA itself is a private company , why they want a listed sub ? or even a unlisted sub with minorities ? He told me CMA will go all the way to make sure NOL is delisted   ? How they are going to do it , he could not   know . |

Hold out since 2014, and you just receive letter? That long?
The offer for you no change. That being all company in pic is local.
CMA being foreign company, will he be the basxxrd to offer lesser than $1.3 to those who hold out?
Any expert can advise?

Bro u can still eat ur cake if u submitted early, sgx rule stated that any changes to GO members who accept offer entitled to it as well. Getting back cash early so not to miss out the next market correction due soon. Cash is king now cos u can really get heavily discounted bank stocks or reit at very good dividend yield or valuation. Bank can go as low as 0.7pb or 5% yield if brexit happen, reit can dive too

I just recieved a circular from Singapore Land. Same act as Keppeland, selective capital reduction. 75% approve at meeting and UIC will eat back all the remaining minority shareholders who had been holding out since the 2014 general offer. No change in offer price. Becareful when being vested in an unlisted public company, SGX will not be there to watch out for you, many of the listing rules CMA-CGM don' t have to comply anymore. My holding in NOL already reduced to the bare minimum just to observe how it will all pan out in the end. |

Just a word of fairness. Sgng123 did point out something for us to take note. That is the possibility of 75% SGM to delist by CMA And I am in a way glad that he point this out as early as he can rather than near closing date. Which I would f him myself if he did. I am vested at 120,000 shares in cash and cpf. $1.5 was all along my guessed price when NOL was in exclusive talk with CMA. I am keeping/standbying my blue envelope while I monitor the situation All along my plans is to hold out till better offer as that will help recoup my losses in other counter. for now, I will wait out. Peace to all, we just want to make some money... thanks.

Though me minority shareholders might end up holding shares in a delisted company  and find it hard to sell but I believed CMA  might not let that happened as they might have the intention to merge NOL and CMA in order  to save cost as they' re buying into a bleeding company.  So will minority shareholders end up holding shares in CMA??? I doubt  CMA will allow that as the french guy laughed when someone asked if we could be issued with CMA shares instead instead of the cash offer.    The french guy claimed that before the cash offered they had actually explored various option including this but they are a Private company so not possible.  If this is the case how could they merge NOL/CMA after delisting  it with  some minority shareholders still retaining their shares??? CMA will be stuck in buying a money losing company in years to come if shipping trade is still gloomy. And if a company had been in red for three consecutive year won' t they be asked by SGX to be delisted?? if yes, they should be desperate to buy over rhe remaining shares in order to do merging right?? otherwise they will take over the bleeding fm Temasek lol.... This is just my opinion... perhaps some expert can enlighten us further....
