construction of underground utility infrastructure and road works, is pleased to announce that
the Group has successfully secured new contracts.

These contracts involve the installation and replacement of underground services and road
reinstatement works which are within the area of the Group?s expertise and experience.

With these contract wins, the Group?s order book has increased to S$158.4 million with
delivery of projects to be completed over the next three years.

The Group will continue to tender prudently for more projects and provide trusted and reliable
service to the Group?s clients.

Ley Choon up as much as 20% after S$63.4m in contract wins
 
SHARES of Catalist-listed Ley Choon Group Holdings : Q0X +13.33% surged as much as 20 per cent, or S$0.003, to S$0.018 at 9.10 am on Tuesday (Jul 26), amid heavy trading.
 
The counter inched down slightly to S$0.016 at 11.25 am, with some 5.3 million shares changing hands.
 
This comes after Ley Choon on Monday evening announced that it has secured S$63.4 million worth of contracts for the installation and replacement of underground services and road reinstatement works.
 
The latest contract win brings Ley Choon&rsquo s order book to S$158.4 million, with projects to be delivered over the next 3 years. The company, which specialises in underground utility infrastructure, plans to continue tendering &ldquo prudently&rdquo for more projects.
 
&ldquo With the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, there is pent up demand for the upgrading works for Singapore&rsquo s complex underground utilities system. Our expertise and track record in this space have put us in an advantageous position to capture these opportunities,&rdquo said Toh Choo Huat, executive chairman and chief executive officer of Ley Choon.

If, say, 15% profit, is about $8 M operating profit for these projects under order book. Unless taking more projects to boost earnings but then so many headwinds like the labour crunch, rising inflation (eating into material and labour costs), pandemic and new virus outbreak, of which are still not out of the woods.

that the Company&rsquo s subsidiaries, Teacly (S) Pte. Ltd. and Chin Kuan Engineering and Contractors Pte
Ltd, have successfully secured two contracts worth approximately S$16.1 million in aggregate for
condition assessment and urgent repairs of underground services (the ' Contracts' ).
The Contracts are not expected to have any material impact on the Company&rsquo s earnings or the net
tangible assets for the current financial year ending 31 March 2022.

None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, director or indirect,
in the Contracts save for their respective shareholding interests in the Company.
