x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Thx, brother.  I' ve often posted that ' analysts' write as if businesses do not proactively manage the challlenges facing their coys or their industry.  As for HK, my own view is that issues like these cld be more difficult to prevent than one thinks.  the $$$ laundering case was, to me, a lapse that cld have been more easily averted.  But when there' s collusion at different levels within an org (as ti appears to have been in DBSHK), then it' s a differrent story, no matter what preventive tricks from the rule books people  draw to minimise its occurence.  FATABA      ( Date: 12-Dec-2016 15:11) Posted: Bro ,,,,U wld certainly recall when DBS was aro 16 ...many expert and comments ( here  ) about doom and calling DBS having many $B of debt. ​ Many here were very negative and some even say can buy aro $12 or some ridiculars number. ​ anyway, the debt is still there ( haha) ....all the negative articles are gone on O& G analyst....recent HK data leak surface ....wonder how many of them sold and trying hard to capitalise on this single piece of infor to RELOAD. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	When I think of Lehman brothers, when I think of the  attemted hostile take over of OUB  (after the tremendous contribution to Singapore by the OUB  Founder) and now the data leak......  I rather do biz with the others like  Hong Leong and UOB.  That aside, (1) Oil price hike will benefits banks, esp those with troubled loans to the oil gas marine  industries. With p&l of companies supporting this sg bank in red, how far can it go? Only strength now is using an Indian to open Rd in India.
