Do you know fake news can also pump the price up? Aspen Released a fake Honeywell give contract. Remember this? Chasen board members are of high integrity. They are professional and kept this under lid. No irregular movement. They would not announce if nothing concrete. (Go check my much much earlier post).

The point is if the deal goes through (which I do believe it is likely), the high NAV / cash value is irrelevant if they are not going to reward shareholders by giving special dividend. Nothing was mentioned about declaring special payouts to shareholders and I doubt they will u less proven otherwise.

Total in the hands of vested parties are way more than that. Anyway, not many people buy this for dividends. If want dividend probably Venture is a better bet. True to certain extent about 50 odd percent in public hands and this will offer liquidity for some players to come in.

Lian Beng, many stocks that delisted with majority owner of over 50 percent only act with their own interests, and totally ignored minority shareholders interest . Isn' t it worst. At least chasen ceo don' t hold majority, so he can' t do anything he likes.

Only issue I have with Chasen is the SS shareholdings. The biggest SS holds only 13.15% of the company. So it is not in his interest to distribute special dividends to the shareholders (if one can remember what happened to Advanced Holding and Jubilee) They would rather retain the cash within the company and " utilize" it for certain party' s interests. So special dividends if any would be tiny. |

Don?t worry. Such big story. There are a number of boutique players mopping it tmr. Retail buyers will be left in the dust. Expect sgx query to follow soon. Should have some legs to run for days and even weeks if reply to query has positive vibes.
