GateHouse SatCom is known for its proven track records of satellite communication protocols, and is, according to the statement by both companies, ?well poised to build space-based 5G NB-IoT solutions?. Space NB-IoT will disrupt the IoT market, according to the companies, with over 1,900 SmallSats already launched as at Jan 1. The number is expected to grow ?rapidly? within the years to come. The joint collaboration seeks to meet the demands of such a growing market, says Addvalue and GateHouse. Standardization in the satellite IoT market will be a key factor in achieving a sustainable business in the satellite communication market. The 5G NB-IoT Satcom Terminal, based on the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standards, will be fully functional with all 5G satellite networks worldwide. ?The confluence of AI technologies and 5G connectivity is destined to be an age of boundless smart and autonomous applications. Space-based 5G NB-IoT will play a significant role in such an exciting era and we have to be ready for it,? says Tan Khai Pang, CTO and COO of Addvalue Innovation. ?This collaboration with GateHouse is based on our long-standing relationship since 2002. That' s because the IDRS only got commercialized last year. But they have 4 customers and only sent out 7 terminals so far which is quite alarmingly. Looking at the time needed for rocket launches and the commissioning of the satelites, which can take months, it is not going to to be immediate.. but again, as long as they can be solvent, the worst is over for them.

IN May 2017, Addvalue announced that its business is worth around $123m. It noted that the " intrinsic value and worth" of its staff and IP assets are not accounted for in its books and hence not reflected in its financial position and performance. It further mentioned ' With regard to its Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (IDRS) business, Addvalue said the growth potential of that market " is tremendous" and has outgrown the expectations assumed in deriving the earlier valuation.' Wonder what would be its valuation today? Being the only service in the world for LEOs to have on-demand 24 by 7 data connection services and that more customers are coming onboard, would they now do something with Addvalue Innovation (AI) to unlock value? these seem interesting times to consider this: 1) It has previously obtained no objection from SGX to spin off AI 2) Surging interest in space economy ie. Space ETF from Ark 3) SPACs on the rage now ie. Satellite companies have been acquired by SPACs in the US.. eg Black Sky Let' s see whether the management will really create value for shareholders or they will continue to just enrich themselves by getting more shares through the Share Performance Plan and big fat Directors Fees |

Nearly the whole management team also lost money when they suscribed to the earlier rights too.. They have $7m of debt due this year so they likely wont be able to be profitable but am watching their revenue and gross profit margin.. hopefully they are not insolvent before they turn teh corner (not another rights issue)... The only way in the short term for the price to go up: -White knight -Blockbuster contract
