Agree.. anything lesser than 85c, the Institution funds who bought placement shares and the vested EPF will lose money. And this is very unlikely for these seasoned investors. I believe the company is worth much more. EPS is est. 15 to 17c. At 10 times, it should be valued between $1.50 to $1.70. Dyodd.

Situations will change as virus mutates and changed in characteristics, so basic essential medical supplies will still be needed.
Lately news from London need to be cautious when we open our border slightly wider. Exercise personal care and observe social distancing etc Time is not ready for celebration yet. Don't go all out to celebrate 100 %, i saw vivo city areas so crowded yesterday, I am scared. |

The vaccines approved for emergency use so far do not change the Covid19 situation overnight. It will take a long time to achieve herd immunity (if ever possible). Everyday cases around the world are hitting record high and PPE and gloves are in still in shortage. A recollection of the CIMB report after UG results in Nov below. Backlog orders, forecasted or guided rev and substantial profits will not diminish just due to the vaccine news hype. Current price 55.5c. TP $1.70c. Upside 206%. DYODD. -------- UG HEALTHCARE: Higher TP of $1.70 A strong start to the year Excerpts from CGS-CIMB report (Analyst: Ong Khang Chuen, CFA) ■ 1QFY6/21 net profit of S$22.7m (74-fold increase yoy) was c.45% above our expectations, due to stronger-than-expected ASP increase. ■ Global glove shortage remains acute amid worsening pandemic crisis, and we expect UGHC to be able to raise prices by 10-15% monthly in 2QFY21. ■ Reiterate Add with higher TP of S$1.70. UGHC is trading at an undemanding valuation of 7.5x CY22F P/E (65% discount to Malaysian peers). 1Q FY6/21 results above expectations UGHC&rsquo s 1QFY21 net profit of S$22.7m (74-fold increase yoy) was above expectations, as we had forecast S$15.7m net profit for the quarter (1Q was 32.2% of our FY21F). UG price has been hit hard from 90c++ to 55c. Nay sayers have been trying very hard to make it to 50c then 45c. Now they can capitalise on news release from Moderna this week, as same as Pfizer a few weks ago. They will try to pull it down further. But they forget that covid-19 cases in USA have reached 17.5m this week, entering into an uncontrollable level!! How about 2021? They desperately need besides various vaccines, also need masks, gloves, masks, PPE, healthcare and medical practitioners helps. May all these concerted efforts helping them save more lives. |
