Hi investinglin78, pls dun put sgyuan on the spot. Whether to enter at this level or wait or not, is our own decision. DYODD based on the fundamentals and the price action. sgyuan can only provide the EW analysis and we are grateful. For mid-term and long term, investors may fnd this level as very good value, esp on Fri, it gave those who missed out a chance to grab at 170, 171 again. I holding on a bit, in anticipation of the potential big haul when GSS starts to monetise the O& G from Q1. Their PE biz is still growing with new capacity. For traders, then it' s a punt on whether we see a continued momentum of buying next week. No one can time the market but i can see that this stk is stilll on uptrend, baring any unforeseen circumstances. Pls look at the charts (daily, weekly & monthly). Hwevr stk price nver goes up or down in a straight line, and thus the waves in EW provdes a guide. My plan: if price cannot stay abv 170 the next few days, then i' ll cut. I' ll stay for the surge to 18x if can surpass 179 again.

w3 ext EW final tgt 170 to 187.
Then return to main EW. If 187 is the true value, the see below: EW 145 w1 168 w2 157 w3 ext ew?187 w4?176 w5?196 w1 23 w2 11 w3 30=187-157, drop 130%(typical161.8%) w4 11=38.2% of w3,, tgt 176 w5 23=100% of w1, tgt 196 - w5 delta 23, should be another ext EW So Px move 170-187-176-196 After reach w5 tgt 196 - wabc correction to near w4 176 - This wa dn, Wb up, wc dn, tgt 176 - Then EW end, wait for next wave.

The last few years' capital spending in developing its oilfields in indonesia will soon yield its maiden fruits, while its Precision Engineering (PE) sector continues to grow. From page 9 or 10 in GSS Energy FY2017 financial rpt:
" .... In the O& G business, the Group has channelled substantial resources to Trembul Operating Area in Central Java, Indonesia. The Group has completed the first phase of its 1st well in the Trembul Operating Area (" Well SGT-01" ) and made hydrocarbon discovery. We are currently working towards monetising sweet gas in well SGT-01 and reentering P1 well with a dedicated workover program to potentially commercialise suspected liquid hydrocarbon. At the same time, we continue to selectively source for new growth and value opportunities.
In the PE business, we continue to receive strong orders from existing customers, as well as orders from new customers. The Group has progressively added capacity to its plants in Batam, Indonesia and Changzhou, China to cater for growing orders. We continue to explore suitable opportunities to expand our business through acquisitions and/or strategic and operational arrangements."

Sgyuan' s EW v accurate leh. Went up to 179, retreated to 170 and closed 171 Friday, followed global mkts sentiment which retreated after the morning' s rush. |

I think you don' t understand the flow of the elliot waves - w3 up tgt 178, this means it will move from 160 to 178 and then start w4 - w4 dn tgt 170, this means it will move from 179 to 170 and then it start w5 - w5 up tgt 189, this means it will move from 170 to 189

0.19 is conservative. Based on RHB detailed analysis , it?s target price is 0.25. I would say 0.20 is a much fairer target considering that the next quarter is definitely much more profitable when then start selling oil .
