when a company issue more shares there is a potential dilution of the asset/profit per share due to the increased number of shares. when one owner of the company transfer his shares to other shareholders cannot see how there is a dilution.in this case, it increases the net market cap.therefore may increased the weightage on indexes. please correct me if i m wrong. see the exercise as giving the market what it values more and take away the real asset of capland that market do not appreciate with some sweetener. dyodd |

not dilution, just higher free float compared to the largely static scripts held by capitaland/temasek, by right can generate more trading volume, so should be welcomed by traders
