On Dec 3, Digital Core Reit DigiCore Reit USD: DCRU +3.6% , with an appraised portfolio value of US$1.4 billion that comprises 10 institutional quality data centres located in the United States and Canada, listed on SGX.

 

The placement tranche was approximately 19.6 times subscribed while the public tranche was approximately 16.1 times subscribed.

 

Under the placement tranche, Digital Core Reit DigiCore Reit USD: DCRU +3.6% Management independent non-executive director Tan Jeh Wuan was allotted 300,000 units at US$0.88 per unit.

 

He was a career investment banker, spending 30 years with DBS Bank from 1989 to 2019.

 

His last position held was as managing director and head of capital markets Singapore, in which position he was responsible for DBS Bank' s equity capital markets business in Singapore.

 

Also allocated units under the placement tranche were DBS Bank Ltd - Treasury Investments, Fullerton Fund Management, SeaTown Master Fund, Lion Global Investors and Great Eastern.

 

A total of 26 cornerstone investors subscribed for an aggregate of 414.8 million units in the Reit which represented 36.9 per cent of the units in issue after the offering.

 

The chairman of Digital Core Reit Management is Jeffrey Tapley, the chief executive officer is John Stewart, and the lead independent director John Herbert.

 

The CEO is based in the US, while the chief financial officer, director of capital markets and senior finance manager are based in Singapore.
