China Everbright Water consortium bags 1.47b yuan Nanning project

 

CHINA Everbright Water Limited said its consortium has secured the Nanning Shuitang River Integrated Restoration Public-Private Partnership Project in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

A public-private partnership agreement in relation to this project with a total investment of about 1.466 billion yuan (S$303.6 million) was inked with the Inland River Management Bureau of the City of Nanning.

The project will be surveyed, designed, invested, financed, constructed, operated and maintained by a project company to be jointly incorporated by a consortium led by Everbright Water and Nanning Jianning Water Investment Group Co Ltd.

 Alert Admin 		Utilities counters are rarely dividend plays unlike reits, but if everbright can increase earnings from from these BOT projects,   there could be potentially big capital gains from this counter. And from the looks of it, at a 52 weeks low it is definitely worth buying in.

0.420-0.435 would probably provide a sufficient margin of safety, anything else would be dependent on whether the funds believe that these BOT projects could be successful. China will be investing alot of money into building their water resources infrastructure in the next couple years. And I think at the moment it is a fair price to be paying.

 Alert Admin 		With all these big projects, are we expecting super heavy CAPEX requirements going forward? Don' t know still can get dividend or not this FY. These days, only dividend paying counters can maintain their share prices and go up. Like reits, who dare to short when they issue regular dividends every quarter?

 Alert Admin 		Vested at 0.425. Shares are at consolidation stage, might breakout anytime especially on the back of big projects. 

Being in utilities also means that shares are defensive in nature, recession no scared.

CHINA Everbright Water Limited has secured phase three of the Xinyi City Waste Water Treatment project at 71 million yuan (S$14.5 million) from the Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau of Xinyi City in Jiangsu Province. 
 


CHINA Everbright Water Limited has secured phase three of the Xinyi City Waste Water Treatment project at 71 million yuan (S$14.5 million) from the Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau of Xinyi City in Jiangsu Province.

Under a supplemental agreement to the concession agreement signed between the two parties, the project will be invested into, constructed and operated based on the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model.

It comprises processing municipal waste water and industrial waste water produced by non-chemical enterprises in a number of areas, including the urban districts of Xinyi City, Xin' an and Tangdian areas, Gangtou Town, Wayao Town, Hegou Town, as well as the Xinyi Economic Development Zone.

With a concession period of 24 years, the project has a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 30,000 cubic metres and the treated water from the project will comply with the national Grade 1A standard. Once the construction is completed, the total daily treatment capacity of Xinyi City Project will increase to 100,000 cubic metres.

 Alert Admin 		last yr it bounce up frm 0.42 to all the way to 0.725 n yet tis yr & down the rd rev n profits will b higher.....oil px increase will effect a higher water tariff rate too....am watching to collect more.....

Actually it stayed around 43.5 to 44.5 before Triple-witching on 15 Sept & got whacked it down to 42 and it's stuck at 42 to 43 since that day.
