Hi all , just passed by here. I would say this price is already justified for Q& M already , anything higher might be closer to overbought and overvalued Many medical counters got restricted , if this becomes the next, even more casualties. Don' t just look at the demand for the test kits , their main business is being affected also due to this virus. Look objectively please , hope all Huat Not vested and not planning to be vesting |

Its quite straight forward if the investors take time to understand the difference between rapid and PCR. Q& M is in right direction. we definitely need more PCR test in this climate. their 10000 test per day may not be enough. |

No one is safe until everyone is safe Keep safe everyone! When the covid first broke out, Temasek Foundation began offering covid test kits and ventilators to various countries in Asean and Asia. The earliest test kits available came along with a dedicated machine that that process 5 samples independently. Costs per test were high, but we don?t have to wait for more samples to do a batch process. Our immigration use such test kits, given the flexibility to process each sample independently. Then the Fortitude test kits became available. These are cheaper per test, and are used by our hospitals. They can be processed in larger batches of 96 samples. Such tests could be processed using standard RT-PCR machines in hospital labs around the world. So Temasek Foundation switched to donating the Fortitude test kits to interested countries, esp smaller countries who need more support. Then, TF heard that hospitals in many countries were running out of basic consumables like swabs and RNA extraction media, etc. So they decided to make sure that they would package test kits along with swabs and other supplies, so that hospitals don?t end up unable to swab or process their swabs for lack of the related consumables. In addition, Singapore has upgraded their Fortitude test kits to Fortitude 2.0. So Temasek Foundation now donates Fortitude 2.0 along with the consumables as complete sets. As and when newer, cheaper or more efficient tests become available, TF will correspondingly offer these to various interested countries. Todate, Temasek Foundation has donated covid test kits to over 20 countries around the world, mostly in Asia. Some countries also topped up the donated kits with additional purchases of covid test kits. Others insist on paying for these kits at cost - which TF would gratefully accept so as to free up its resources to those in greater need. TF is beginning to reach out to Africa as covid reaches their shores. Separately, Temasek continues to scour and support various solutions wherever we can, for testing, including new tests for antibodies, or faster tests using various technologies, as well as treatments and therapies. Meanwhile, our hospitals are not just on the frontline in testing abd taking care of patients. They are also on the covid research frontier, actively exploring and validating newer, more efficient, safer, faster, or cheaper ways to provide various services, from tests to treatments.
