Mr Lim was Dyna-Mac ' s largest shareholder with a stake of about 41 per cent, figures from its latest annual report show. Temasek owned about 25 per cent of the company, followed by Keppel Corp with a 24 per cent stake

The Company had announced that the Group has stepped up efforts to explore business opportunities with a view to extending its service offerings to complementary industries such as the clean/renewable energy sectors. In connection with above, the Company wishes to further announce that it is currently repositioning its business to pursue opportunities in the global green hydrogen market, which is adjacent to its core capabilities. In conjunction with this, the Company is currently evaluating the need to expand its yard facilities to fulfill potential demand by increasing its production capacity, maximizing operational synergies and to undertake new green hydrogen projects. The Group is also looking into applying its modular construction capabilities to the fabrication of green hydrogen modules. The Group will be looking into collaborating with design houses and equipment makers to fulfil its growth ambitions in connection with the above. |

He is responsible for steering the strategic directions and growth of the Group. Mr Lim has more than 20 years of extensive working experience in project management, commercial management, yards operations and design engineering in the Oil and Gas Industries. Mr Lim was a Keppel Corporation Scholarship recipient and prior to joining Dyna-Mac, he has held various Senior Management positions in Keppel Offshore and Marine (KOM) group. Mr Lim obtained his Masters of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore and he is also a member of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, Singapore and Singapore Institute of Directors. |

that' s the thing i don' t understand. keppel corp is trying to divest and have ear-marked area segment to release. one of it is the oil and gas. why would they acquire dyna-mac ? that will be adding. since temasek and kc owned almost 50%, it is more likely that they will use dyna-mac to acquire kc og all they need to convince is late estate of lim tze jong. the rest of the 9% will have to follow dyna-mac with market cap of $102m is like a snake trying to swallow an elephant ..... so too many if ..... of course you are right to say that keppel corp is selling og away but can dyna-mac makan og easily more than $102m .... they will likely have to raise money to acquire og. nonetheless dyna-mac is a good vehicle to carry out the task - 3 combined already 90% but not good for minority shareholders imho
