At its peak 8-9 yrs ago, it is trading at $10bil market cap. From 2008 to 2016, Sembmarine paid out $2.7 billion of dividend.  Sembmarine' s global position has been greatly strengthen with the strategic purchase of Sevan SSP, with patented cylindrical rig design and now cylindrical windfarm foundation design. Rights issue injected $2.1 billion cash.   Offshore boom is already here with many billion dollar projects queuing to luanch. The recovery started in 2019, took a gap year because of Covid. 2021 will see pent up demand with a vengeance. Projects that were supposed to be luanched in 2020 will have to be launched together with those originally scheduled for 2021. Thed writings are all over the wall. With the merger, the combined entity will easily double their profit potential.
