From 3.40 to 3.49 yesterday and today' s mad rush towards 3.62 we were seeing short term speculative buying. When sentiments turned weak in US futures these speculators did a 180 degree U turn because they basically dont have the capital to pick up their shares. Big time speculators including all those antique remisiers do punting when they have the opportunity. Although there is no more contra trading with the shortened settlement period there is always married deals to transfer a trade from one book to another to extend the settlement. This is only done when sentiment indicate market is moving and there is only a need to hold for a couple of days. If the speculators dont think condition is good they just dump it.  There is nothing changed fundamentally for the stock. The Messiah, may now sing a different tune but he isn' t always right. It is easy to call an up or down trend for a stock but dont try to time it. Nobody has the skill to tell you exactly when.
