probably more to be done. those who are vested quite many years. Went into E-commerce and made huge lossess such a disaster .... german, indian, australian (if i am not wrong) and now interim from nz. i hope it is just something about about operation and nothing more .... really 🙏

good action to put current wrong to right. also need to go back history to get those wrong to be right. shareholders money being swindle by non declaration of interest when selling to singpost is wrong. the process of get it right must to done. see if money can get back. |

SingPost valuation is not dependant on CxOs, in fact SingPost will achieve full Shareholder value when all value parts(Australia, Logistics and Property) are sold and re. the last remaining part namely Postage business- they need to do delist and do something like give back to Government. Only this route will achieve max value and for these things, since this is not running a business, you dont really need CxOs. Rather SingPost needs a good Investment banking firm that will monetise their parts on the best terms. | ||||

agreed. the reason reported looks more like operation issues and the managers have been fired. they are ceo, cfo and chief of the international business unit. just giving an eg ... if that is so ... mrt saga ... the minister should be terminated basing on the above incident. it has to be more than meet the eyes .... a day before Christmas, i thinkk that are trying to contain it for now .... |

I think SP may follow up with legal suit for failure of fudiary duties if their case is strong. Definitely more to come. Like Iswaran case, at first strongly object. Then quietly accept or fight and may lose even more. But I believe counter's fundamentals should not be adversely affected unless more news surface.

n 2015, it had issues with Director breach of fiduciary duties. Not sure, whether any legal actions pursued. Now the handling of early 2024 whistleblowing resulted in termination of the employment of 3 senior executives. One should ask why whistleblowing case is only dependent of the 3 executives? Should it not be independently investigated and report to Audit Committee, the Risk Comittee and the Board. Dont think it is right to depend only the executives handling of the whistleblowing.. Took so many months to uncover, not very effective whistleblowing process. End of the day, the shareholders are the one who are being punished. Similarly, the SGX Reg should also be independent of SGX . This is to avoid the appearance of conflict of interests. | ||||

seriously don' t think it is due to the reason that was cited .... that the reason Phang and Yik have indicated they will " vigorously contest the termination of his employment, both on merits and on the grounds of procedural unfairness," the company said. just like income saga, await the truth to surface .... after Christmas liao |

Probably correct but I believe the Book-value per share was higher back then. The company was not making a profit or making very little profit the past few years. Also Aus$ was way higher then than it is currently ( meaning they invested with more Sing$ and is show lower Sing$ for Net Asset Value per share (or Equity Per Share).
