(They may post a profit guidance before the official Q3 result) Even though the production for Q3 is reduced due to the July flood and the scheduled annual plant maintenance (late Aug-early Sept), the higher ASP should more or less close the gap for Q3 revenue, compared to Q2. Some folks talked about money lost potential from the plant maintenance, but actually, all China' s DMF plant will need to do maintenance to pass reguatory inspection or may be force to shutdown. 1H average DMF price was reported at 9987RMB/ton, Q3 DMF selling price may hover around 12-13K RMB/ton DMF is stil lin high demand and with some shortage in Q4 due to plant maintenance from Hualu and Xinghua, so Oct (under Q4) will be a good month for Jiutian. (I wondered where is Jiutian die hard fan Calmroom? I am sure he did more homework than me) As usual, please DYODD

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Their raw material of DMF are Methanol and Ammonia with Carbon Monoxide. Methanol comes from coal and supply don' t seems to be in shortage. (not from crude oil probably) Today ' s DMF pricing around 16000-17000RMB/ton Methanol pricing around 4300 RMB/ton Liquid Ammonia around 4800RMB/ton The reason for tighter supply (and probably the rise in pricing) is because competitor HuaLu and XingHua are now doing plant maintenance.
