One more thing. Since i just browsed through the internet and its latest quarter result, i did some math here. Base on the internet resource (dated in Dec,13), the company has 105 branches. Base on the latest quarter result, the extrapolated revenue is $88m (22*4) for FY2014. Using same set of result, the extrapolated operating profit is $6.672m ((1292+73+303)*4). (Depreciation adjusted profit before tax, refer latest quarter result for inputs.) Hence, base on the rough estimation, the Company only able to generate revenue of $838,095 ($88m/105) for FY2014. This in turn means a month only able to generate $69,841 ($838,095/12) per month per branch. Whereas in operating profit term, only average of $63,452 (6.672m/105) operating profit generated per branch per year (or $5,295 per mth per branch). Base on the above rough estimation, can anyone provide any insight whether this is healthy amount that a medical clinic should generate? |

It is not very profitable as it may seem. I guess the cashflow mainly goes to the doctors and nurses (directors themselves) rather than to shareholders (notice the company has not distribute dividend despite profitable, read on..). The company can be profitable all it wants but if there is no cashflow something is wrong. If this counter so good deal now why would people dispose? If the counter so prospective why wouldn' t the share price climb after downtrending since Jun' 13? Anyway vested as it is at the bottom of the trend since 2010, unless it could fall further then something is really wrong. I am not gonna hold for long. Few bids up would trigger me to sell unless there are surprise development contracy to my own personal observation |

Result is not that bad lah.. Remember that Healthway is split into Healthway Medical Corporation Limited (HMC) and International Healthway Corporation Ltd (IHC) Just on HMC alone, the result is so so.. Still making profits and growth in SG.. |
