Not sure if others are still interested or monitoring - but happy to say from my observations that I think the building facade is more or less done, and they are now planting trees on the mid-levels. So, they had said it will be completed in Q3 2018, and it may be doable, based on external visuals. The internals, I don' t know. Anyone knows how the sales at Mont Botanica Residences and Kandis are doing? |

I do not know about so far back - but it used to be two buidings called Robinson Towers and International Factors Building, that TS bought way back in the 1980s I recall. And the redevelopment potential was released when the Government gave much higher plot ratios for commercial land near MRT stations - so they have a plot ratio of like 13-14 or in the region.

Anyone notice, but TS is stuck and stationary in a 39.5cts-40cts range again. This was the case at 28.5cts-29cts a few years back. Interesting. This looks to be like some control play or accumulation at work. Lets see whether time will tell. | ||||

Why do you say this? Anyway, I thought it is better that they keep their focus singularly on what they do best, which is commercial property and high end boutique condo development. They lost focus in the 1990s-2000s when they started going into technology, trading and tried to be a multi-industry conglomerate. The reason why I like their Batam integrated development township concept is that they are now generally renowned as a small high end boutique developer - not mass market like so many others on SGX. Hence, there will be quality assurance. SO if they launch at a realistic price in Singapore (ie not like Banyan Tree type of super high pricing) I would consider buying a unit for myself too, as I would trust that they would deliver.

Share prices of Chip Eng Seng and Tuan Sing hold steady while others were dropping today. But volumes were not high.it is interesting to observe further.
