I got 2 lot stats-chipac regarding of right issue, why there is no allotment of right issue to me. because i recieved the right form and i didn' t see right allotment in holding. kindy anyone know why ! thank you |

Yes, it' s referring to the distribution for the Taiwan shares. It' s either you accept the cash USD0.0068113 + one Taiwan shares or total cash. If you choose to accept the total cash entitlement (i.e. US$0.0404681 @ exchange 1.35 = S$0.0547) then you must sign and return the Cash Election form. Otherwise, you will only receive cash + one unlisted Taiwan shares which may be be traded on stock exchange. Same like you, I was also wondering what happened to the missing five cents.

Hello Steve, what is the case election referred to? Did you refer to the letter pertaining to the 5cts value drop from 52cts to 47cts? I was wondering where this 5cts have gone to.. Is it pertaining to the Taiwan subsidiary shares to be alloted to the shareholders in cash or TDR, depending on the shareholders' interest? Appreciate your advice.. I was very disappointed with TH' s decision to sell Stats off to the PRC at such a big discount.. :( |

Yesterday I received the Acceptance For Offer Shares form and Perpetual Securities form . Still have not receive the Case Election From with closing date 31 July. I think they sent out the form on 16 July which is considered quite late as the average postal delivery time in Singapore now is about 3-5 days. Not much time left . |

statschip i got nothing to say lar this counter, last time i remember it was $0.9x like that, how come now like that .... aiyoh... may go below $0.3x probably, only down no up? like creative like that.... all the way from $27.xx... this one all the way from $0.9x |

today the separation of Taiwan business part is finialized. You will receive the difference in price as: 1. ~1ct in cash and 2. an option for stocks in a taiwan business or ~4ct in cash. Later the month the take over bit of 46.6ct per stock will kick in. After that S24 will be delisted. You do not need to sell your shares, the monies will be transfered to your account directly after all is settled.

Could anyone advise me? l have holding the statschippac share since several years ago. Not very sure what is the term and condition for JCET takeover bid. If l have 10000 share of statchippac share, after takeover is done, what will be my share quantity and value? Will statschippac delisted after takeover? What does it mean if l have not sell the share to market even after delisted? Why today there is about 5cent drop? I have no clue, anyone advice is much appreciated. Thank you.

You made a mistake in your calculation. For the Taiwan subsidary (Perpetual Securities): 200 mio US$ at 2.202 billon shares are 0.0908 US$ per share --> S$ 0.1208 Capital reduction and distribution: 15 Mio US$ cash --> S$ 0.006 Bloomeria stocks --> S$ 0.045 This all comes on top of the offer.
