Also those who want to scoop, I say wait. Even if today dont break 1.10, tomorrow may break. rather buy slightly higher tomorrow then buy now, tomorrow morning open matchin below 1.10 GG. I also tempted but resist temptation, dont feed free money to CIMB n Credit.

 Alert Admin 		I am not quite sure what is your point in bringing up the ISO standard here. ISO standard does not stipulate how to derive X week of the month but X week of the year. The 3rd week claim was received by many bros here who sent an email to MT' s Investor Relations to get an idea of an approximate date range of when they would release their 3rd quarter guidance but nevertheless many have gotten confused by the so called " 3rd week" .

Previously I posted about some TW forumers claiming it will be released on 23rd October however as per Master Chia' s email from IR, they specifically mentioned there is no confirmed date and stressed once again it is only 3rd week of October. There are too many ways to interpret this even as quoted from the ISO.


There are several mutually equivalent and compatible descriptions of week 01:
  • the week with the year' s first Thursday in it (the formal ISO definition),
  • the week with 4 January in it,
  • the first week with the majority (four or more) of its days in the starting year, and
  • the week starting with the Monday in the period 29 December &ndash 4 January.

I brought it up and doubted whether the info was correct in the forum. Other shared that it is likely a mistake after all..  Today, the typo error was corrected on Medtecs website.
What motive are u talking about?

Isn' t it the SAME? When you are in the majority, evidently it would seem that you are shutting people down. 2. Sigh, I feel for the Shortist and Mouthtraders, to Justify their Calls or I am Right or vested interest, they create news. Bro ssw518, may I ask where u find the the 30% from non mask, 70% from masks breakdown? May I also ask where u get the Q3 profit guessing?

Bxwyl (forget ur nick): I know you sold high and want to buy back at 1.00x to make another round say 1.00 to 1.20x. I think this is a Fair Position so if im you, I also want MT down and can make times. Good trader! That said, one thing I learnt over the years and months is Karma and be a Good Person. It is easy to fall intro the trap of anting to sell high, n once u sell pray n cheer it keeps going down so you can feel shiokshiok or can buy back lower. That' s ur right. But for me, after i sell, I sincerely do hope the next person makes $$. It' s not really a Zero-Sum game in life though some say in stock market it is but this is ur life, if it makes u feel happier, good for you.

Stockshort: Actually, bro I do follow some of ur calls, find it interesting since Rex days and u give very decent read of the direction of the market, know CS/CIMB plays too. My question though is I do hope you are actually shorting or benefitting from MTs going down from 1.98 to 0.975 then 1.33 to 1.12. If not it is kind of lame, u come the forum daily to post and make urself feel good, for? Win at forum is NOT important guys, in fact I would rather lose at forum and win in life or stock market. For the record, under whichever paradigm on this counter the Longist Longterm bros be it Chiachia, wolverine, gregtan (myself), Longtermer are ALL Making tons from this counter, we are playing with House Money.

Finally, to those who say I (i dont use we because i dont want to speak for other longists) am gambling or MTs has no future post covid, here' s my response:
1. Management Guidance and Numbers (but this one everyone knows)
2. Channel Checks (analyst often use this): I did my own deep channel checks not just publicly available figures from alibaba, USA government procurement data, but other channels. MTs own brand of PPEs really good quality, price margin good as well as getting market share.
3. Innovation/Management Talent: Go follow Medtecs Taiwan Facebook or do a deep dive into their news/videos: They have NOT been resting on their laurels and just content to make mask/ppe n get the ONE time Supernormal profit. They have done SMART masks (can wear for 1-week, no need wash) as well as they have found Product Differentiarion with Amazing Colours of Masks (not ur usual blue or green), at first I tot Colour is a Joke but i realised in Taiwan, it is a Big Hit Amongst a Mask Wearing Nation especially with the Females. Besides that, their own CoverU Gowns look really good from the slides and from checks, quality is amazing better than what they use currently in SG. 
4. Besides Numbers, Expansion Plans & Strategy: US factory (if it happens, good catalyst), UK NHS, Nigeria New Market/Africa. 

I am ignorig the fluctuations, I got enough exposure, I would urge ALL NOT to Buy, this is BB-corned stock, it is not going to move short term unless u want 3-10 pips Long/Short but this entails u time the market. I am not keen on 10pips, let alone 50 pips, my ave is 0.99, won' t say how many pips I am looking for but I dont have to win daily or weekly or even at all in forum, I just wait for what I believe is the inevitable. But please guys, please SELL, please dont buy. Listen to Stockshort, Siwomp, Ssw518, Bxwyxls. They are the Stars

bro, i help you a bit on my view, tho my guessing only
Q2 profit,
50m breakdown, 30% from non mask and 70% from mask.
Q3 profit guessing,
30% from non mask = 15m,
July Mask profit remain = 12m
Aug Mask profit assume drop 50% = 6m
Sept Mask profit assume drop 75% = 3m
Q3 guessing = 36m
I had mention in my previous post too, yes profit but might not be what the initial grp mention like 2x-3x.
it' s better to be at the low side, VP is a good example, now hanging on to China hospital plan to keep the price holding.
anyway, my guess only, not vested but i feel the pain of those who lost at high, nice to have bueatiful dream
but when it' s time to wake up, pls do so. I don' t see any target so far, it' s all trend n mood play.

Been away from the forum for a while, decided to come back on a Medical Big Down Day and wasn' t disappointed. Shortist, Mouth-traders Naysayers are back in full force. 

1. No Longist shut down or ask Shortist to Shut Up lol: If that' s the case, then the current climate of Siwomp, Stockshort, ssw518, bwxyls brothers they all shout down, and shut the longist up. Isn' t it the SAME? When you are in the majority, evidently it would seem that you are shutting people down. I recall when we said something against shorts, we did NOT say they cannot have a view, we just wanted a Reason or Numbers to support the View.

2. Sigh, I feel for the Shortist and Mouthtraders, to Justify their Calls or I am Right or vested interest, they create news. Bro ssw518, may I ask where u find the the 30% from non mask, 70% from masks breakdown? May I also ask where u get the Q3 profit guessing?

To those reading, please see the difference. One CREATES Fake News/Numbers to Achieve an Objective or just to Mouth-Trade, whilst the Longist point to Real Facts and Numbers n Guidance by Management. 

3. I am going to address the Bros individually

Bxwyl (forget ur nick): I know you sold high and want to buy back at 1.00x to make another round say 1.00 to 1.20x. I think this is a Fair Position so if im you, I also want MT down and can make times. Good trader! That said, one thing I learnt over the years and months is Karma and be a Good Person. It is easy to fall intro the trap of anting to sell high, n once u sell pray n cheer it keeps going down so you can feel shiokshiok or can buy back lower. That' s ur right. But for me, after i sell, I sincerely do hope the next person makes $$. It' s not really a Zero-Sum game in life though some say in stock market it is but this is ur life, if it makes u feel happier, good for you.

Stockshort: Actually, bro I do follow some of ur calls, find it interesting since Rex days and u give very decent read of the direction of the market, know CS/CIMB plays too. My question though is I do hope you are actually shorting or benefitting from MTs going down from 1.98 to 0.975 then 1.33 to 1.12. If not it is kind of lame, u come the forum daily to post and make urself feel good, for? Win at forum is NOT important guys, in fact I would rather lose at forum and win in life or stock market. For the record, under whichever paradigm on this counter the Longist Longterm bros be it Chiachia, wolverine, gregtan (myself), Longtermer are ALL Making tons from this counter, we are playing with House Money. 

Siwomp, Ssw518: I am tired to text to you both separately. Same issue with Stockshort, besides posting in the forum (yes I know freedom of speech) and besides your proclaimed I want to save the world/others have you all benefitted from MTs drop? for both your sake, I really hope u both did, if not it really becomes very lame. Daily come to Medtecs forum, post, no need work or trade or do productive things?

Finally, to those who say I (i dont use we because i dont want to speak for other longists) am gambling or MTs has no future post covid, here' s my response:
1. Management Guidance and Numbers (but this one everyone knows)
2. Channel Checks (analyst often use this): I did my own deep channel checks not just publicly available figures from alibaba, USA government procurement data, but other channels. MTs own brand of PPEs really good quality, price margin good as well as getting market share.
3. Innovation/Management Talent: Go follow Medtecs Taiwan Facebook or do a deep dive into their news/videos: They have NOT been resting on their laurels and just content to make mask/ppe n get the ONE time Supernormal profit. They have done SMART masks (can wear for 1-week, no need wash) as well as they have found Product Differentiarion with Amazing Colours of Masks (not ur usual blue or green), at first I tot Colour is a Joke but i realised in Taiwan, it is a Big Hit Amongst a Mask Wearing Nation especially with the Females. Besides that, their own CoverU Gowns look really good from the slides and from checks, quality is amazing better than what they use currently in SG. 
4. Besides Numbers, Expansion Plans & Strategy: US factory (if it happens, good catalyst), UK NHS, Nigeria New Market/Africa. 

I am ignorig the fluctuations, I got enough exposure, I would urge ALL NOT to Buy, this is BB-corned stock, it is not going to move short term unless u want 3-10 pips Long/Short but this entails u time the market. I am not keen on 10pips, let alone 50 pips, my ave is 0.99, won' t say how many pips I am looking for but I dont have to win daily or weekly or even at all in forum, I just wait for what I believe is the inevitable. But please guys, please SELL, please dont buy. Listen to Stockshort, Siwomp, Ssw518, Bxwyxls. They are the Stars
