This is why buy shares in SGX got to be triple careful (best don' t buy at all), make sure price cannot go down much more. Otherwise, after buying, price can dive (even good counter), then major shareholder come out to privatise at low ball offer, and you kena hit big time. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Once upon a time, this mkt seemed so behind others that there  appeared to be a mad  rush to bring in schips wholesale to bolster it.  That so many of them have turned out to be s-cheats have taught all n sunder in this country  a very painful lesson indeed there' s anecdotal evidence aplenty  abt so many having lost colossal sums by investing in them.  So, the flow of schips  was stemmed out  .... apparently.    But, hey, lo n behold,   now s-chips seem to be making a comeback stealthily  through the backdoor !!!!!  Will some of them create a fresh calamity for the unsuspecting investor?  Time will tell.  But best is to thread with extra caution.  N  this applies to all stakeholders, including those with supervisory oversight ..... not least in contemplating any transparency  awards  n the like to them .... the story of Midas being such a shiny example of all things holy is playing out into such a laughing stock ..... sbscap      ( Date: 15-Oct-2018 21:07) Posted: Agree. Friendly party holdings can be traded without anyone knowing or having to report so that controlling shareholders can play around with the share price.
