x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I don' t think it' s a foregone conclusion yet. I myself will be voting against the GO. While they own ~75%, a simple 10% (of votes present during voting) veto would be able to block the deal. I' m happy for the share price to go back to $0.20 if the GO fails, since I think the business is worth more if CPO prices revert. If the GO goes ahead, I' ll just tender my shares for $0.28 then for a decent return. Case in point isChallenger, its minority shareholders seem to have some guts, and they (allegedly) have gotten 8.6% to veto the deal thus far. The Loo family and concert parties have 80% of the business, and yet minorities still stand a decent chance. x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	To be fair, when it IPO-ed in 2007, it was doing ~20% ROE, now it' s unprofitable. Operating profits also shrunk by 3x over the last 12 years. So it' s a much weaker business than it was in 2007. Hence just keep an eye on all these companies you mentioned because the window is clsoing in. These stocks constantly trade at pathetic valuations and hardly move even though many tout them as " Hidden Gems" , " Unpolished Gems" etc. Dividends are also pathetic. And there are frequent deals/transactions made among companies within their group of companies. Clearly, these stocks constantly reap benefits (which we don' t know what are the benefits behind the scenes) for the CSs, but retails always get the short end of the stick.

Even if we were to exclude such kinds of stocks, pretty sure there' s still many left for us to choose.
