Still ongoing from what I know. And yes, much of Oceanus' s future developments hinges on SGX' s efficiency with the watchlist exit results, largely due to the investments and funding it would be able to attract thereafter.

I think feasibility study takes time and emphasis is now on building global food tech hubs and digitisation, etc. So long as Oceanus is still in the watchlist this project is unlikely to go ahead.

Really disgusted by this practice and govt still allow it. It like forcefully putting to jail and list down condition to get out. Then after that when the person met the conditions, erm sorry. You can't get out because I don't know how. Nobody ever hit the conditions. What a joke. When in first place u forcefully throw those company, by your firm entry condition, in the watchlist. Aren't u suppose to set out a firm exit condition as well? | ||||

So far we are still in the timeframe posted by oceanus on their facebook page, (I recall earlier this year in january) where it was said that an approval from SGX should be expected by 2021 Q3/Q4...

Hmm but there would be no 3rd quarter result from Oceanus though. So that might not be a conclusion from their negotiations. My guess is that because there has never been a precedent case for a turnaround company exiting the watchlist (as what Oceanus announced last month), SGX just doesn' t know how to cross their ' t' s and dot their ' i' s. As a result, Oceanus and her shareholders are made to wait while SGX figures out their processes. Honestly, I am trying to hold back my disappointment in the tardiness of the entire process...

reason for watchlist delay might be due to SGX not convinced that the profit is consistence and hence waiting for 3rd quater result from Oceanus. if so, the exit might come only end of october? |

Yes, indeed! Sino Food Group is appointed as an approved frozen food distributor of China Resources Wufeng. With the scale and volume of CR, I expect to see this contributing healthily to Oceanus' s cash flow and bottomline. The first indication of this might be as early as Dec 2021.

Hi all, anyone here has any insights on China Resource Global (CRG) that they might share? Perhaps someone who worked and lived in China previously. I was just doing some further research into Oceanus' s partnership with CRG following my previous post (see: https://www.investingnote.com/posts/2310320) and I am blown away once more at the scale and magnitude of the partnership in the Chinese market. I believe the current market has not fully appreciated the significance of the said partnership and impact on Oceanus' s bottomline. I am looking to add once more to my long position. |
