JP Morgan had downgraded Keppel on March 26 due to the ongoing Iran War. Keppel?s 1Q2026 on Apr 23 briefing had updates on the power business, divestment targets, Rigco which owns the legacy rigs, progress on funds under management (FUM) and the M1 divestment. JP Morgan points out Keppel guided that power spreads fell by around $10 before the Iran War but rose to $30 for shorter-term contracts, after the war started. At end-2025, 52% and 15% of power capacity were on 3-10 year and more than 10 year contracts, respectively. 28% of power contracts are on 1-3 year contracts, with just 5% on sub-1-year contracts. As at March 31, 30% of power contracts are 3-10 year terms with 15% on more than 10-year contracts, 47% on 1-3 years and 8% on less than 1 year.m ======= paywall =======

It&rsquo s less about profit and more about demonstrating confidence in and support for the company he leads. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Keppel drags JV partners to arbitration over a surprise USD261m land fee at Empire City, insisting the bill isnt  theirs to pay Announcement broken down into plain language: Who is involved: Keppel Ltd. (through its subsidiary Corredance Pte. Ltd.) is in a joint venture with three other companies: Denver Power, Tien Phuoc Real Estate, and Tran Thai Lands. Together they set up a project company called Empire City LLC to develop residential and mixed-use buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. What happened: In late 2025, the Vietnamese authorities told the project company it had to pay extra land use fees of about VND6.877 trillion (USD261 million). The dispute: Keppel side says these fees werent supposed to be their responsibility. They argue that the other partners had promised (in the investment agreement) that approvals and land costs were already taken care of. So Keppel is claiming the partners should bear the cost, not them. Action taken: Keppel has filed for arbitration in Singapore to resolve the dispute. Arbitration is a formal process where an independent panel decides who is right, instead of going to court. Next steps: Keppel will update investors if there are important developments.
