I nearly bought First Reits...fortunately I didn' t. FR did have some good reviews. We don' t really know what is going on inside until it becomes news. Shares that have very different analysts views......Top Glove, IFAST.......some shout " Buy" some shout " Sell" .....headache to decide who is right. Decide own self based on own risk return appetite.  | ||||

LOL ... Even big boy ESR reit want to merge aka acquire Sabana reit & you call it run-of-mill reit.
It's not too late for you you're switch from EC World reit to Sabana reit before Sabana reit price run up. Gentle reminder, EC World properties are 100% in China & Sabana's in Singapore.

I think commentators don' t have bad intentions but just sharing their real concerns. Maybe right maybe wrong but still an issue for discussion. If you are correct then you profit lor. Nothing wrong if some prefer to be cautious.

Thanks all for spreading the panic. Now can buy even cheaper. This gem is more financially sound than some other run of the mill  Reits like Sabana | ||||

In May last year, I actually called their SG office about rental rebates given from our pockets. I know SG based REITs also give rental rebates but these rebates are financially supported by government. They said it is one-off event and not likely to happen in future quarters. I guess they just recently announced " not to receive performance fee due for the whole of FY2020" as doing their part since shareholders paid for the rental rebates in Q1. Good of Management to do their part too.  | ||||

That time First Reit before the rental restructuring and the rights issue also gave out dividends to entice people to buy in.  Little did we know that First Reit is running out of cash and that' s why the banks are not willing to loan them money and thus First Reit had to issue rights at depressed price.  These business man are very shrew, so better monitor and run if sense something is wrong or fishy.

If waiving off late rental payment penalty means trouble, then it is puzzling how today' s share price can be maintained at yesterday closing $0.710. If there is rental collection issues, they still can pay 4Qtr 2020 distributions??? I don' t understand. Keenly watching after selling off all last year with tiny gain.    |
