I do not think the reason for the price rally is because of the exclusive distribution rights of TWE' s Penfolds Champagne given to Oceanus. But rather, it is because its the first time in history that TWE has granted exclusivity to one single company (i.e. Oceanus) for the whole of China since its initial venture over 20 years ago. This speaks volumes to the credibility and influence that Oceanus has in China and the region, which is very likely larger than most of us are aware of. News like these bring confidence that the industry recognises the potential of Oceanus. What we see in the balance sheet (which has been growing steadily across the past few years) is the end result of a lot of deal-making and growth across the years. Couple this with Oceanus' s progress to " tech-up" and revolutionise the distribution channels, you have a massive opportunity on the horizon. It is not enough to have a great vision. You need to have strong leadership and the market opportunity to accomplish the impossible. From all that we have seen thus far, Oceanus seems to have both.

why they want to push up the price for retailer to profit? Isn' t it better if I Q at 8/9, those retailer can only buy from the sell Q and sell to the buy Q? 8/9 transaction with 1 million share transacted, can make about SGD 1000 every day. |
