I think SGX is seen as more neutral compared to HKEX for a listed company. That might be a good marketing angle for IPO aspirants to avoid being seen as being China or US bias. | ||||

SGX renewal news has driven up the shares. Just keep for as long as SGX is a monopoly. Perhaps there may be a CLOB equivalent that might want to set up to compete in Singapore with SGX. But unlikely. |

It is a matter of who needs who more in this market? We are a case of No fish prawn also good for us. If the potential companies are creme de le creme to begin with, you think they will want to list here? We just need to be more accomodating to these " B" graders, a few rare successful gems will ignite others to list here. The onus is on us (investors) to sieve out the wheat from the chaff. |
