My presumption that the major share holders may not sell their warrants and will convert them to mother when the time comes is purely based on that they will maintain their shareholdings, if they dont maintain their shareholdings and they sell in the open market, then the amount of free float warrants will be a lot more, but based on the turnover of warrants so far, there seems to be collected whenever people are selling warrants, so it is well absorbed. Even at the last minute of transaction, the warrants are still at 0.245 instead of going down. Some who expect the mother and son to drop a lot will be disappointed as DM is really well supported by fundamentals.

Oh, I see. Ya, it may be too presumptious to suppose that the free float of warrant is only left with 74 million. Then again, the available warrants could be even lesser as there will be those shareholders holding on to the warrants that were allocated earlier. And those investors who have bought the warrants since its listing. All said, it is clear that there' s hardly any shorting of the warrants.- just too risky.

Hi Bro aragosta, if you are referring to Bro Eagle88 being confused in his views of Dyna Mac, then think not lah. In fact he has done alot of due diligence and seems to be very focused on Dyna Mac. But that said, I do agree that a TO by Hanwha is not likely to be so soon, not just after a acquisition of a major stake in Dyna Mac. But if course, such corporate moves cannot be totally ruled out. As for me, I see Dyna as doing all the right thing and also being at the right place (sector) at the right time. I am staying the course and will go nice to hear your views too. Thanks

To stlimst and Eagle88: Yes indeed very fruitful. You can see some photos of the place on the trading floor thread. Sure you can come, but beware of flies, mosquitoes, rats, cockroaches, and lizards. We have to deal with them. Dengue is a problem here as there is little education on Mozzie WIPE Out. It' s like going back in time 60 years. But first, save up for the trip that will cost lots of money, maybe Dyna mac can help sponsor some of that when you make profits here. As for the warrants, the Estate of Lim, Hanwha (most likely sold by Keppel to this company) and CEO owned 61% of the 200 million warrants, that is 122 millions. CEO bought 4 million warrants when warrants were initially listed. So left 200-122-4= 74 million free float warrants available in the market for any one who wanted to be major shareholder to grab before conversion period 22/7/2024 to oct 2024 and to pay a premium for it as the mother will be going up due to many catalysts coming !!! | ||||

Look at the buisness sentiment of the Sector (Offshore and Marine, Energy) and look at what' s hot (FPSO). Then consider the big contract wins, the Hanwha investment and the expected synergies. The tail wind is all gushing. I am running out of investable funds but I will nibble the warrant abit. |
