CLI is one of the few gems in SGX, honestly. I still believe it to be undervalued due to the fundamentals and the paradigm shift in the nature of the business. If only SGX had more liquidity HAHA. Rare to find other stocks worth buying these days. | ||||

I strongly recommend the latest article by wavehunter in The Trading Floor thread - it is exceptional - he is totally correct
Good stocks with solid fundamentals will not only come out of the storm they will surge to new highs eventually ( examples from Singapore include - Keppel, All shares listed associated with CapitaLand, DBS, OCBC, UOB, City Dev. Etc etc ) The best policy is to follow what is said in his article Look for S&P to get support and possibly bottom at 4,000 or just under It was obvious to me that US stocks had to go lower than the Feb low before they could recover meaningfully Remember - funds have to put their money somewhere and you can see Japan, now also China and Singapore drawing in institutional money from the US and Europe during thei weak period in the US - so if you have good shares in Singapore in solid companies why sell ? You are just giving to investors who will profit from buying from you ! Anyone emails me I will happily send a MBA research paper on the above for free. |

CapitaLand Investment to issue S$400m worth of notes due 2027 at 3.33%
CAPITALAND Investment CapitaLandInvest : 9CI -1.71% will be issuing S$400 million worth of senior notes at a fixed rate of 3.33 per cent that are due in 2027.
They will be issued at par on Apr 12 under a S$6 billion euro medium term note programme established in November last year, said the real estatement investment arm of property developer CapitaLand in a bourse filing on Tuesday (Apr 5) evening.
According to deal stats seen by The Business Times, these notes were oversubscribed by almost twice, with an order book of S$780 million across 80 accounts.
Almost an equal number of orders came from private banks (33 per cent) and insurers or funds (30 per cent). Other banks and corporations took up 25 per cent of the orders, while the remaining went to the public sector.
The funds raised will be used to refinance the company' s existing borrowings and finance its investments, as well as for other general corporate purposes.
DBS, HSBC, OCBC Bank and UOB have been appointed as the joint lead managers and joint bookrunners for the issue of these notes.

Yep, me too. CLI is asset light & more focused. Management is competent too, not parachuted in from unrelated industry or govt department for OJT. I believe it still got many good stories to tell.💰 🧧
