x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Keppel drags JV partners to arbitration over a surprise USD261m land fee at Empire City, insisting the bill isnt  theirs to pay Announcement broken down into plain language: Who is involved: Keppel Ltd. (through its subsidiary Corredance Pte. Ltd.) is in a joint venture with three other companies: Denver Power, Tien Phuoc Real Estate, and Tran Thai Lands. Together they set up a project company called Empire City LLC to develop residential and mixed-use buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. What happened: In late 2025, the Vietnamese authorities told the project company it had to pay extra land use fees of about VND6.877 trillion (USD261 million). The dispute: Keppel side says these fees werent supposed to be their responsibility. They argue that the other partners had promised (in the investment agreement) that approvals and land costs were already taken care of. So Keppel is claiming the partners should bear the cost, not them. Action taken: Keppel has filed for arbitration in Singapore to resolve the dispute. Arbitration is a formal process where an independent panel decides who is right, instead of going to court. Next steps: Keppel will update investors if there are important developments. Let' see if there is any disclosure from him tonight. Does it means that new keppel do well  ...then old keppel can remain in the book forever.  Selling properties etc and monetisation are ONLY good if well invested into higher returns.  Certainly it has gone below the $12 mark now ( what happen next Monday XD).....SBB to hold it up ( for how long this can happen ? ) I guess the true value of a stock is far more important then promise .  Hope the new chairman can come in and do some magic.  DYODD ......DYODD    FATABA      ( Date: 17-Apr-2026 09:17) Posted: Interesting report ....and a search on this Corporate Monitor shows that it is run by a group of professional ( lawyers etc etc w experiences)  ( anyway IF this report is false ....Kep should and would come out to deny it and even sue them....but keeping quiet )  Note previous Muddy water on Olam ( it is silent by Temasek ) ...and went away.  Important point for us investor is to review Kep business and what is the actual value ...is it worth the $12+ today ....what  would happen after Xd and more so in the mths to come . Can it afford this level of dividend ? AUM is truely USEFUL if invested w good returns .  Your guess is as good as mine.  DYODD please

Quote CD maintains the view that CD is not responsible for the ALUF, and such costs should be borne by the Respondents. CD has commenced the Arbitration against the Respondents to protect its interests, and will pursue its claims vigorously. For context, based on the current carrying cost of the Land Plots, the investment in the Project Company is currently expected to remain profitable for CD, even though the overall profitability would be reduced if the ALUF were not fully borne by the Respondents Unquote Seem like Keppel want the stock to drop so they can accumulate more stock before the 2028 share acqusition . The payout consists of a cash dividend of 21 cents per share, plus a dividend in specie of ~10 cents (1 Keppel REIT unit for every 9 Keppel shares held). As a result, the share price is expected to adjust downward by at least 31 cents on Mon.
