If the market see the Co stepping in to buy back the Co' s shares, the price will be supported.. and deter the shortists.. Also, it shows that there is creditlity in the Co' s statement and not to be dismissed lightly... |

Today shortist has spent abt $2.65m shorting GAR 9.15m shares at abt 29c each, likely can' t make money but face the risk of buying back next week. If investors hold tight to their shares, n if the company suddenly does a buyback, this shortist is going to cry.. With Indo export ban lifted n Palm oil remains firm at MYR/T 6,450 in this high inflation/interest enviroment, GAR will definitely attract serious investors even Goldman Sachs has a buy on commodity stocks ... |

How to move? Big mouth on enhancing shareholders' value through US$100 million share buyback and the powder is not being filled? The oil palm companies were applying for licences to export as reported and first shipment would be 30th May 2022. |

With continuous demand n sustained high palm oil above 6,000 MYR/T, Golden Agri is a v good stock to invest in this high inflation n rising Fed interest rate enviroment. Shortists may temporary supress its price, but it only gives investors opportunity to buy cheap n enjoy good return. In fact the palm oil is trading at 6,295 MYR/T now .. |

If not the Currency, maybe the amount is mispoke.. else why no share buyback since the annoucemnt, and after the results and fall in share price.. last purchase before announcement was 2nd March 2022 -10.4 million shares at 30 cents... |
