let be very real here. First, he doesnt need the director fees. 2nd, his addition may help Singapore for jobs creation etc, bringing Singapore to a good spot in technology.. Creative lack of access to the big guns support.. And they confirm have alot of advantage on the X-FI with metaverse.. now... everyone focusing on platform and i believe creative should be solid as they are quite good on sound.. maybe X-Fi marketing or PR or comms not quite up there. |

Apple has started pushing for its holographic sound (but it needs the music to be recorded that way) Huawei and other Chinese phone makers, even SK Samsung, may want to adopt Creative Super x-fi, because Creative' s products can be used with any headsets, just install the App on the phone. With many Metaverse companies springing up suddenly all over China, it is not going to be hard to find a big partner. Would be nice if Super X-Fi is available on Huawei Harmony OS first. Build it into Huawei Kirin chips.

GY is a big guy and won' t do it just for a little bit of money However, having George Yeo on board means the Robert Kuok and China connection. Of course, plus his own connection. George Yeo is closed to the Robert Kuok family. Robert Kuok is probably the most respected and admired Chinese outside China (some say more so than LKY or Tan Kah Kee). You see, Robert Kuok helped built Beijing' s first 5 star hotel - The China World Hotel, at a time when China was still very poor, and in record time. He did it practically FOC. Ever wonder why Wilmar' s 金 龙 鱼 Arrowana brand cooking oil is the number 1 cooking oil brand in China? George Yeo' s appointment signals Creative' s big ambition in China. Sim WH mentioned in an AGM that his greatest regret is not making itself a Chinese company, like having HQ there and have his own factory making his kick ass products. Stay tuned and stay vested. George Yeo has only been directors of multi billion dollar companies. Like Kerry Holding, Wilmar, AIA.. So we can start stretching our imagination as to the future value of Creative Tech. Back to multi-billion! It is a very good association with George Yeo. Dont count Creative out just yet.

if razer CEO Tan Min Liang to become independent director would certain push the price beyond 10/-, why SWH didnt think of it, just keep head down and invite la since razer has been very innovative, the word innovative is so much better than the word creative, hope SWH invites Tan as a 2nd independent director to validate creative and its value | ||||
