Frencken benefits from the ongoing global chip shortage. most recent Nov 2021 Singapore NODX data, no. 1 in the increase is electronics sector. I am expecting Frencken to have an improving results. Whether it is overvalued or not, PE is 14 and PB is 2.5. doesn' t look overly priced for a company contributing to the chips boom. the negative that I can think of is their factories over in Netherlands and in Malaysia may be affected by the omicron but that is on the supply side. Once the wave passes through, the demand will be even greater. From a business perspective, it is always good to have stronger demand that outstrips supply if deficit is inevitable. See Tesla. So this sell off is illogical to me. I am not selling my shares and will be looking for opportunities to load up more. dyodd.

there is no public domain negative news for Frencken. Insider buying on 3rd Dec at previous support of $2. 14 Dec the big red candle that broke $2 support had about 20% short interest. Since then to 17th Dec, the short interest has reduced to around 10%. RSI is now less than 30. MACD is getting less red. as investors, fundamentals have not changed (at least public domain knowledge wise), no reason to be selling to these shortists. at some point of time, the shorting has to cover back. Frencken Group
On Dec 14, Frencken Group Frencken: E28 -2.54% chairman and non-executive non-independent director Gooi Soon Chai acquired 100,000 shares of the listed company at S$2.01 per share.
With a consideration of S$201,000, this took his total interest in the high-tech capital and consumer equipment service provider from 23.40 per cent to 23.43 per cent.
It followed his acquisition of 100,000 shares at S$2.06 per share on Dec 3.
Also, on Dec 14, Frencken Group president and executive director Dennis Au acquired 50,000 shares of the company at S$2.00 per share.
Au has over 30 years of experience in the high technology industry and was appointed president of Frencken Group in May 2015 and executive director in April 2016.
He is responsible for charting the group' s strategic direction, setting the organisational goals, overseeing its global operations and driving its performance.
Au maintains a 0.86 per cent direct interest in Frencken Group.
