Still, some higher-quality REITs are still able to increase the dpu of untholders from the best combination of Equity and Loan when raising cash,.... Hence, the quality of a REIT is important. REITs have learnt about the ' dangers' of an economic meltdown in 2008/9. Hence, I would still say that REITs will survive any mkt downturn this time. Perhaps dpu may be reduced if some Tenants moved-out and the occupancy can' t be filled back up quickly.... For unsuccesful applications of Excesses, you will receive a USD Cheque sent back to your residence.
