x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	i always wonder why the us politician always attacking china. cause people that i use to work with from us does not hate china. in fact they love to be in china , well entertain, spend their money with the good exchange rate. they become richer in china. the group of people i can imagine against china is those who has lost love ones in the korea war. but think number is small as it is already so long ago. another group is those who are involved in the war machine. they got to try to create demand all ove rthe war. soviert is gone, left russia, middle east like well harvest already, china is a big one to go after. china need to work harder at gaining love for china in us. maybe they also need ngo to create the motion to love china at the ground level. not all people love or hate china. most people are neutral. most just want life as it is at peace, able to make a good living, able to do what they want.    the most evil one are those who are gaining out of war.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I suspect broad financial US/NATO sanctions on China coming soon, but more important is how will Singapore, or rather SGX or even MAS/MOF handle these US sanctions with regards to China focused equity/assets owned by Singaporeans. I hope they already found a workable solution without exposing the SGD to US or China counter sanctions. The present currency war is just the appetiser. pasttime      ( Date: 15-Oct-2022 19:48) Posted: my observations is that western fund especially us base one seems to be dumping anything that is china related. with so many sanctions and prohibitions to own under the premise of security.  so best is to not own at all instead of having to sell in an urgent manner.  some hk counters that was banned by us has actually drop very little this round as us fund now do not owns these stocks. some time i think is it better not to have us fund involvement. we play in our small pond getting better return from the dividend as capital cost will be lower.
