Then ASAPH' s owner subscribe the IPO for a 15-20% stake ( can' t remember the exact size, maybe someone can dig ?), at IPO price, should be around USD1xxm.  If ASAPH had made a very good profit on selling the 6 hotels @290m, this Frank Yuan has enough margin to sell his stake at 40% discount.  This is the guy that has the capacity to sell at low.

Very interesting share, 1st time in SGX a reit has that much drama even before the 1st distribution.  Usuaully contraversy happens at rights issue or pte placement.  My take is this: the sell down is overdone.  Weak sponsor plus weak asset still have a fair price.  Unless this is a total fraud, at this level this share is under valued.

Disclaimer: I started a position on this around 0.55.  I will buy more at 0.50.  Do you own DD.

Can' t he wait  ? maybe price recover to higher level, then sell, why ?

He should have wait for the price to recover, if He still think the price can recover, he should not sell now, why ?

 Alert Admin 		agree, when i see SSH selling, it is a big concern since they have so much " inventory" to unload to retailers
so have to be patient and wait for the selling pressures to subside

i am interested in Eagle at this price but was thinking where can i read more 1st hand comments about the ship........then i remember since it is a hotel, i can read the hotel website guests comments which will give me some idea about the conditions of the ship
so i google " tripadvisor queen mary hotel" and found many comments about the ship and most of them are negative comments about the state of the ship
my personal view is that the ship is in " run down" state but that is relating to cosmetic issues of the ship eg carpet, lift, paint etc and not the structure of the ship
anyway, worst case scenario is ZERO income from the ship, then the question for investors would be what is the income from the remaining hotels ?
UOB report says the dividend will drop to around US$5.1 cents

See if any SGX Query coming up again for this drastic drop. Same event like this happened last Friday,... and we discussed hard over the weekend, then the trustee-mgr quickly came out with some filings/updates on last Sun/Mon,...

Up till this moment,... looks like a classical falling knife event for those who bought on last Tuesday at mkt open. I think the cornerstone fellas think there are further bad news coming out very soon,... if not, why such heavy disposings ?
