All the br-east   TikTalk      ( Date: 13-May-2021 19:47) Posted: 13th May 2021 Straits Times Index Gaps : Runaway and Exhaustion Gap In this post I would like to share on gaps and since its also rather relevent as they occur just above and below the current level of STI. Runaway Gap - The gap up on 8th March did meet the criteria of high volume as can be seen from the blue  upward pointing arrow the volume of that day was above the volume moving averages(small blue down arrow below  the word Volume MA. Exhaustion Gap - The gap down on 11th May also did fulfil the requirement of high volume as can be seen from the long blue downward pointing arrow. I highlighted this 2 gaps of relevent because if a more severe correction were to continue in the days ahead an attempt to fill that runaway gap is always open. And after this correction is over it may then resume upward to fill the exhaustion gap to. Cheers

Below is a monthly chart for FLCT(left chart) and Keppel DC (right chart) The main reason I prefer FLCT to Keppel DC  or Ascendas Reits is again you will hear me say higher high and higher low for uptrending stock. Remember huh very important buy & hold stock with higher high and higher low. You can see clearly FLCT is still moving upward at 45 degree while Keppel DC has gradully decline in prices.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	For those who are interested in reits.... I had earlier compare FLCT to Keppel DC, below chart is a comparison for FLCT and Ascendas Reits. Before March when I was looking at reits I did take a look at all 3 names mentioned and had ranked them in order of FLCT, Ascendas follow by Keppel DC....During the March sell-off I bought more FLCT and less of Ascendas, the former for buy & hold and the later for trading. I took some profits on FLCT and kept some position for buy & hold while sold all of my Ascendas as it was meant for trading when they both traded higher. Ever since FLCT has proven to be better imho in the sense that it goes up well and can hold its value well. as you can see from below chart.  As mentioned earlier I am vested in both but not soliciting anyone to follow, do your own research and use my chart for reference if you find them relevant. If anyone want a comparison to another reits you are interested in please let me know by replying here, or you can pm me if prefer to be low profile.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Comparing Fraser L & C T to Keppel DC Reits My charts are dividends adjusted as FLCT recently went x-d. Another example of selecting the right stock within a sector or industry to invest is very important. I had in the past mentioned several times(in other thread) that I like FLCT more than other reits, can search my past posts. As of this writing FLCT is at 1.42/1.43 while Keppel is at 2.64/2.65, from below dual chart one can easily see that FLCT has hold its ground while Keppel had declined more since early May. Fundamentals of company are important and the chart indicate that too. FLCT is a stock that held up very well ever since I traded it, still is today. I had bought Ascendas as well during the previous sell of in March and sold off my position. Re-enter recently on news of private placement and collection dividents since its lower than my previous sale, as this is just my trading stock while keeping FLCT(Buy hold)amid some reduction in holding before May.
