MT' s coming div at 0.81c is not bad. At price of 23.5/24.0, div yld is 3.4%. Likely to go ex in 1st or 2nd week Apr. Better than banks FD which is ard 0.5%, got to keep one year, whereas in MT likley to get 3.4% in a few weeks after ex, likely in early Apr. MT has a CIH of 12.1cps, and nav of 46c, so not likely to go further south. Think price suppressed by kks for their BBs to collect on the cheap for the coming div. Just opinion. |

Wat u said is rt. But most times hard to beat the shorties in sgx. Look at tdy' s TW price, went up by amos 10%(9.84%), but MT in sgx struggling to keep 1 bid up. Wat a J in sgx. Run by shorties.

At 0.81cent div Mt is actually distributing more for FY2021 than Rex, the much hyped oil counter, which is paying just 0.5c. Think MT bosses likely confident of future earnings, otherwise wont give a div yld of 3.4% lah. Just opinion.

Despite its profit warning 3 weeks ago, the FY result announcement turns out quite commendable. Many would hv thought the performance wd be much worse becos of 2H loss, and not expecting any div. But turns out quite okay leh. Nav remains solid at 47.3 sg cents, eps at 4.3 sg cts, and div at 0.81 sg ct. At 0.81c div, at current mkt price of 24c, is like 3.4% yld, which is better than any FD.

Medtecs International:The personal protective equipment (PPE) maker on Tuesday posted an 87 per cent drop in net profit to US$17.3 million for the full year ended Dec 31, 2021, from US$131.7 million in the year-ago period. This was mainly due to decreased demand and margins for PPEs and facemasks. Shares of Catalist-listed Medtecs closed 4 per cent or S$0.01 lower at S$0.24 on Monday. | ||||
