Riverstone is an interesting counter, play it correctly, profit will be immense. If you can pair it with Elliot Wave, interested investors will have a good idea of the direction. From a different of 96cts Riverstone has narrowed it to just 14cts. I remember two members here consistently mentioned that Riverstone is different glove stock way before prices has narrowed this much. Fundamentals is very important in selecting the correct stock within a similar sector or industry. Kudos to this two members and I dedicate this chart to them. This was the reason I traded Riverstone  to find out more about this stock, make small profit only. Imagine if one had follow or listen to the right source one would have switch from TP to River and thats a big different to your portfolio. If one go though my post one will notice I posted many charts on Riverstone, because I find it interesting. Cheers

You are holding fast to your buy & hold trade principle, so not fleeting in n out is the correct strategy.   I hv been through this before, so many times, but not being certain if you are a buy n hold person or a short term trader can really screw up your trades.   Because buy n hold u buy low n sell high but short term trade simply follow trend as in buy high sell higher. To overcome this, I hv core holdings which I dun touch for months n years but trade the very same counters in n out. Of course, heart pain on hindsight but it' s par for the course.   Very soon, you would be sharing news of your profits in Taxi instead! Cheers.

Dunno wanna buy back Riverstone and Raffles Medical which I sold as part of reducing total portfolio mentioned below too. This taxi I bought from 139,146, 162, 166, 169, 174, 175, 178 & 182 = Average 1.66 Assuming each purchase price is 1 lot then I sold  2 lots at 1.78 on 28th April, this sell was not becuase i dont like this stock, it was just part of my portfolio adjustment to reduce my total holdings by 30+% before May. Say I took a lost of 2 cents for last 2 purchased. Now my mark to market cost is 1.615, say 1.63 including fees. Before last week this stock is still uptrending so all these correction to me is just noise, just like how I hold stocks like SGX and SCI in my earlier posts where I mentioned I have to go through many ups and down, so long as they have a series of higher highs and higher lows. Now this stock made a new of 1.54 but manage to close above previous low of 1.55. Closed at 1.58. Paper lost of about 5 cents. Imagine if I sold all at 1.78, I would have made 12 cents, but that would not be my buy & hold trades.. Even a good announcement also offset badly by covid, thats life of a trader. What to do, next week crucial lo.... I wont share trade confirmation because telling the world about losses cannot be fake. All the br-easts to me

Keep practsing with Demo but do have a trading system. Develop a set of Rules for BUY & SELL. What must you see before you BUY ? What is the set up ? That way, your trading will be consistent. And if those Rules dont produce the desired results, then something is wrong and you will have to discard or tweak those Rules and keep at it until they work for you. But you must have Rules to trigger BUY and SELL signals. Without Rules, you will be buying based on gutfeel which is tikam tikam and macam like gambling lidat. That one...cannot lah. Demo account..... is for you to develop your Rules and test them in a safe but controlled environment where if you fall, you wont get hurt and wont bleed.
