My thinking on Healthway: (a) Healthway is a top 10 Catalist stock by market capitalization. (2) It is trading at price/book value of 0.72. Stock price: 6.5 cents/ Net asset value: 8.97 cents. If it goes to a price/book value of 1, the stock is worth 8.97 cents. A price/book value of 1.5 will give a stock price of 13.5 cents and a price/book value of 2 will give a stock of 17.9 cents. Some healthcare stocks are trading at bigger price/book values. Question: Is Healthway undervalued? (3) Unlike some other healthcare companies, Healthway is profitable and it has a network of more than 100 GP and specialist clinics in Singapore. (4) It also has a foothold in China but of course not everything is going smoothly for now. (5) Healthway is a substantial shareholder of International Healthway. Its stake can be liquidated when the time is right and the money can be used for working capital or for dividend distribution (this is only a guess).
