Some are like you and me, have many mouths to feed at home. The older workers will definitely have a harder time based on the current employment sentiments in Singapore. During the good old days when O & G companies are doing well, it is not uncommon to see 6 moths or 12 months bonuses. So, it' s just simply a downturn which I believe there' s nothing much the directors or management can do. Many in the industry already gone bust. Those companies who survived will definitely come  out stronger, as most of the weaker competitors are wiped out. Strength of Ezra estimated to be 5000, in Singapore context, a mid-sized company. Big companies include SIA, SeaGate, ST Engineering, SMRT, SingTel.....etc (notice mostly starts with ' S' ), so, it' s definitely not true when one of our friends here said " EZRA is too big to fail" .
