x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Generally, I would not advise over 50s to go into ' growth' stocks like technology companies and some start ups. I would advise them to just go mainly into big caps. If you want to invest in small caps for long term growth, keep that percentage small. As we grow older, we will need more ' fixed' income rather than ' growth' . So, the higher your age, the fewer growth stocks you should have (These should have been bought while we were young). The more income generating ones that are steady should be kept. What makes them lucrative is they were bought at prices only a fraction of what they have soared to. There are not many left now on the SGX I am afraid.
