By the way not sure, this company after get dividends liao, will drop very hard or not ?? Cos recently bought a food stable company becos of its dividends, after give dividends liao, keep on lao sai non stop. LOL. But for me I can hold long term if company fundamentals are good. |

tmr last day if u wan div..n plan to hold long term lol i' ld rather buy after it goes 7 series then take profit as it goes up to the px u buy. cause nothing is telling whether will tank further. buy low sell high.. not buy high take div then sell lower than div + cost |

but to buy and pick up and later px drops to a level where it doesnt even justify getting special div. not a good strategy imo these days so fluid who knows whether the new business SP going into is even worth looking at. the first tranche after px falls from 9x to 8x and staying there doesnt really bodes well. it went back up to 9x 2 days ago only because of the 2nd tranche special div coming but u can see its going back down again. unless one wants to hold and wait..

Yep, it could or usually would. What i meant is for folks to buy in if they want the special dividend, rather than loading above 90s last few days.

wah , they give so much dividends this time ? Is this just a one time special high dividends ? 0.1006 per security/unit according to sgx, So for example, if i buy before ex date, 5000shares = get $503 in divdends ? But after this round dividends, in the future i doubt dividends will be this high again ?? |
