STA, I have harping many times is not a mkt for speculation but a buy and hold between 6 to 12 months on strong potential earnings for the next few quarters. No brainer if any one tells you STGT will suffer loss for next few quarters. Management already revealed in yesterday's investors' conference that STGT gloves quarters very much than 2nd quarters at $35 per box. Through my extroploation of 3rd quarters result I derive produrs if minimum US$138 million and STA profits of US$77 million without even taking profits if rubber division into account even though STA mamagement revealed 3rd quarters profits much better that 2nd quarters rubber profits due to improved demand ftom China and local consumers demand on rising rubber prices till date as rubber price already bottom out this year in the month of March period. Stay invested and money put in the bank is sheer stupidity earning peanuts annual interest which can be offsett by dividends alread being paid out 1st half 2020 and hopefully interim dividend to be paid out as well on better STA 2nd quarters result!!
